We have gathered all of your most burning and urgent questions about our work, car service, maintenance, light engineering and WoF and repairs.
Is your workshop set up to complete all kinds of repairs?
Automotion carries out full motor repairs and servicing to most makes and models of light vehicles. Also, our light engineering workshop can carry out many specialised repairs onsite.
Do you offer warranty on the work you do?
Yes! Automotion is a member of the MTA and conforms to MTA standards and practices. All Automotion’s servicing and repairs are fully guaranteed.
How do you price or charge for your work?
Our charges relate to what type of work you require. Automotion generally charges an average industry rate for time plus parts and lubrication for our work. Importantly though, at Automotion, we go out of our way and strive to ensure you are offered a fixed price up front, on all work agreed to. If we do find something while we are working on your vehicle, we will not work on the new problem without your approval.
What methods of payment do you accept?
All accounts need to be settled at the completion of the job. The Automotion accepts EFTPOS, cash and major Credit Cards.
Will the price I’m quoted be the price I pay?
Yes. We adhere strictly to our quoted prices, and all prices quoted in person are final. Sometimes we do find faults while we are working on agreed work for a client that we think should be repaired or that will need repair downtrack.
We will absolutely never carry out any additional work unless and until we have received your approval to fix it.
What time do you start and what are your normal operating hours?
Automotion opens the doors every weekday morning at 8.00am. However, should you need to drop a vehicle before that arrangements can be made to assist you.
We try to close ever week day at 5pm.
Are you open on Saturdays and Sundays?
Automotion’s workshop is open Monday to Friday 8am until 5pm. However work outside these hours may be possible by prior arrangement.
Do you offer a collection and delivery service?
Yes, within approximately a 20 km radius we are able to collect and deliver your vehicle – all at a time that is convenient to you.
Do I need to make an appointment?
For most service and repair jobs, we would ask you to make an appointment, so we can allocate workshop time that is convenient to you.
We do however, stress to all our customers that if it’s an emergency, or just one of those annoying little jobs, to simply bring your vehicle straight round!
Can I have a courtesy car?
Yes provided you are 21 or older. Please ask at the time of booking your service or repair and be sure to bring a valid driving licence with you on the day.
I need my vehicle for carrying my work supplies and equipment. Can you help?
Yes. We have a courtesy ute fitted with roofbars suitable for carrying builders, plumbers and other ‘tradie’ equipment and supplies.
If Automotion services my vehicle, will it invalidate my warranty?
NO! Our adherence to the manufacturers service specifications of your vehicle and use of approved parts, ensures your warranty will not be affected. *
Can you stamp my service book?
Yes. We will stamp your service book to show which service has been carried out. Q. My service light is on, will you be able to reset it?
What kind of service do I need?
If you are unsure what kind of service you may require then why not give us a call. Our manager will be able to talk you through and guide you on the best service to have based on your vehicle, it’s age and it’s previous servicing.
